Refund policy

If you are not happy with your purchase, you may return your item within 14 days of receiving it. To arrange a return, please email info@thepreciouspeople.com. All returns must include a copy of your receipt, and items must be returned in new, unused condition and in their original packaging to qualify for an exchange or refund.

Please note that personalised and bespoke items are non-refundable.
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on earrings, unless they are faulty.

Once we have received your item, the credit or debit card originally used for the purchase will be refunded. Delivery costs cannot be refunded unless the product is faulty (exceptions may apply). Refunds are generally processed within 7 working days of receiving your return.

It is the customer’s responsibility to return any items. We strongly recommend using a tracked service for all returns, as we cannot take responsibility for returned items until they have reached us and we have confirmed receipt. We are unable to cover the cost of return shipping unless the item is deemed faulty.

How to Cancel Your Order

If you wish to cancel your order, please email info@thepreciouspeople.com within 30 minutes of placing your order and include details of the product(s) you wish to cancel. After this time, your order may already have been processed.

Sale Items

Only full-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded unless they are faulty or legally required.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you require an exchange for the same item, please email info@thepreciouspeople.com and send your item to the return address above.

Gifts

If your item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned item, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift at checkout, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give later, the refund will be issued to the original purchaser.

You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returns. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, any return shipping we have covered (if applicable) may be deducted from your refund. Please keep proof of postage until your return has been received and processed.

Delivery times for exchanges may vary depending on your location.

If you are returning an item valued at over £75, we strongly recommend using a trackable service or shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
